Pomfret Proprietors Association

The Pomfret Proprietors is a volunteer organization of owners and managers of businesses located in the town of Pomfret. All businesses are welcome, including merchants, restaurants, services and industry. Pomfret's boarding schools and town library are also members. Qualification for participation is simply enthusiasm and a desire to share our beautiful town with others by promoting the excitement and fun of local businesses.

An annual event created by the Pomfret Proprietors has gained attention in the public eye and continues to grow in success: the Town Wide Tag Sale.

As of 2011, the PPA consists of almost 40 members, and we welcome more. There are no membership fees, but everyone--including the town in general--benefits from the publicity that our annual events and other activities garner.
